The Mandalorian Chapter 11: The Heiress Review

This review contains spoilers!

Welcome back to another review, this time we are taking a look at The Mandalorian Chapter 11: The Heiress. After last week's filler style chapter that was essentially a set up for this chapter we are finally back on track with an exciting episode that not only moves the story forward, but deliverers some great action set pieces and cameos delivering some great fan service.

Chapter 11: The Heiress is currently the shortest episode of season 2 of The Mandalorian but don't let that put you off, from the get go the chapter starts with a fiery descent of The Razor Crest, to an exciting heist situation that plays out after The Mandalorian finds more of his kind in the form of Bo-Katan (for those who don't know Bo Katana played a role in the Star Wars The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels animated TV series). It was fantastic to see Bo-Katan not just return in the Star Wars universe but also for her live action debut and even better that the same actress who voices Bo-Katan for the animated series respires her role in live action form.

The main story line of Chapter 11 follows the heist of an Imperial Cruiser by the Mandalorians led by Bo-Katan alongside The Mandalorian. The actual heist itself brings back memories of the heist sequence from Solo: A Star Wars Story but with the added bonus of Mandalorians fighting Storm troopers which as you can imaging the Mandalorians make easy work of. Due to the chapters short runtime the story line moves fairly quickly and keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time. Whereas Chapter 10: The Passenger felt more like a filler side adventure, this chapter even though it has a side adventure does feel like it contributes to the whole story whilst giving some big hints and clues as to where the season is heading in relation to a certain Jedi and the legendary Darksaber, Could we be heading for a class between Moff Gideon and Bo-Katan? one can only dream.

Overall Chapter 11: The Heiress delivers on the hype the season and show in general has generated and not only moves the narrative forward in a big way, but also brings Bo-Katan to the live action Star Wars universe and an array on Star Wars references that fans will love.

Verdict: 5 /  5 Stars
