Review:

As we stated above this review will not contain any spoilers and whilst that stops us from discussing some exciting moments in the film there is still plenty to discuss. If you can please stay away from spoilers because there are moments in the film that really do need to be experienced without being spoilt.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is the third film in the current MCU / Sony Spider-Man trilogy of the films and whilst Tom Holland has grown into the role as Spider-Man throughout the characters time in the MCU but it is with Spider-Man: No Way Home that Tom Holland proves just how good he is as Spider-Man and brings a load of heart and emotion to the character with some of the strongest performances we have seen in the MCU so far.

This can be said for the rest of the cast as well with Zendaya as MJ delivering a strong performance to our returning villains and whilst we won't go into too much detail due to spoilers, but it is great to see Alfred Molina returning as Doc Ock but a special mention has to be to William Dafoe's Green Goblin who manages to steal the attention in nearly every scene he was in and truly shows how much of a threat his character can be.

As a film in itself the film manages to balance the repercussions and fall out from Spider-Man: Far From Home with Peters identify being revealed to the world with a multiverse inspired action adventure that keeps you on the edge of your seats. The film is not all action and it is in the moments in between that really show of the emotional arc of the film and how far the characters have come since first being introduced in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Whilst the Disney + series including Loki and What If..? having introduced audience to the Marvel Multiverse, Spider-Man: No Way Home continues to expand on this and embraces the craziness of the concept to give audiences an edge of your set Spider-Man film which is up there as on the best live action Spider-Man films to date.

As of course with Marvel films in general there are a ton of references and calls back to previous entries into the franchise which fans with love, but this film is a treat for any Spider-Man fans out there and it is a MCU film that is not to be missed.

Verdict:

A rip roaring multiverse adventure that does not lose sight of the franchise humour and heart. This is without a doubt Tom Holland's best performance as Spider-Man to date.

oh and the post credit scenes are great too.
